A ridiculous amount of songs have been written and partially recorded over the past 4 or 5 years (thanks to Dave Armstrong!); hope to have an album finished at some point in the not too distant future, preferably before I'm too old to dress myself. Here's a few Almost Finished recordings to whet your proverbial whistles:
THE SHORE
LEAVE A LIGHT ON
RADIOMAN
HOLD ME SOFT - (work in progress!)
'Leave A Light On' is featured on the US release Acoustika vol. 14, 'The Shore' is featured on the excellent One In Three compilation disc for Anti Cancer Charities . 'Hold Me Soft' is a work in progress - BVs still need mixing in properly, 'something dark' needs adding to the minor drops and the pause at the end needs sorting out. But it's my only real *cough* love song *cough* so thought I should get it on here to lighten things up a bit :)
Accompanied by trusty musical sidekicks Dave Armstrong (bass) and Rob Cross (guitar & bv's), and either Daniel Pressley or Shane Kerwin on drums/percussion, we have managed to play a few gigs here and there, highlights being supporting Juliet Turner & Derren Nauendorf at the Peel Centenary Centre, and Rob and I playing in Dalby Church as part of the International Bonnag Making Competition last year... I also thoroughly enjoy singing backing vocals for Anna Goldsmith, Truman Falls, Christine Collister and the aforementioned Rob Cross (you scratch my back etc etc); and have recorded BVs for each of these artists, as well as for Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam.
